Happy Springtime

Spring is, without a doubt, my favorite season. Something about the refreshing in-between hot & cold air combined with all of the now green trees and their blooms makes me so so happy. So in honor of that, here is a little painting + blog post.

Art Post #7

I love the opportunity Sundays and the weekend give me to relax and take a pause of the stresses of life. It is an outstanding time to just paint. This weekend (especially because I was feeling way less than 100% and had my contagious self quarantined to my room) I did a LOT of watercoloring. Below are a few of my favorites. 

Of course this weekend there was also the winter formal. The result of being expected to dress like this is everybody having an ensemble that looks something like this. Its not good. (but ya know I'm not complaining… modest is hottest and everything) However, a select few looked absolutely stunning. Even though I (along with the other unfortunate 15 year olds) couldn't go to formal this year I was so inspired by some of the dresses the girls wore. 

Savannah's dress was especially lovely. 

The Start Of Autumn (#6)

Last week was the autumn equinox which marked the "official" beginning of autumn. From that day the nights get shorter and the weather gets colder and everything just becomes a lot more cozy. I am so incredibly excited for this fall. So in that spirit I created an autumn bucket list and a list of a few autumn essentials. Enjoy!

An Accumulation of Art (#3)

Holy mother of LOTS of watercolor. A compilation of favorite quotes, random paintings, and fruity prints were accumulating in my room and taking up a little too much desk space... so no I did not paint all of this in one day {that would be insane} Over the weeks lots of random paintings were created but never shared so I am now taking this opportunity to post them.
