New Years is one of my favorite holidays. It is unquestionably the most nostalgic, festive, sentimental, energetic, etc, etc. of holidays. I was a little worried about how fun & festive it was going to be spending it out of town but it really couldn't have been better. We had glittery numbers and a photo booth. What more could you need? I had a wonderful time ringing in the new year with my family and the ones I love most.
I would imagine that it is safe to say the photo booth Gabrielle & I slaved over was a success

Of course visiting Salt Lake City I dragged the whole crew of aunts/ uncles/ cousins/ distant relatives down to temple square in the below freezing weather to see the beautiful lights and snap some photos. I think it was worth it. Isn't the temple just gorgeous?
*lesson learned: polaroids do not turn out in the dark. No matter what setting the camera is on. No matter how high the flash is. (which I learned the hard way… there goes 3 films)
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about this beautiful place and the blessing that it holds.
and how beautiful is this little Christmas tree farm… I can pretend it's still the holiday season right?
my polaroid camera was such an investment.
