Two thousand thirteen has been quite the year. It was filled with falling-ins as well as falling-outs. Countless memories were made as I finished freshman year and eventually began 10th grade. This year was filled with new changes and chapters of my life. While some changes were incredibly difficult I would like to believe that all, in the grand scheme of my life, were for the best. An incomprehensible amount of details can occur in the span of 365 days-- good and bad. My life is incredibly different than it was last year and I am in no way whatsoever the same person that I was on December 31, 2012. Twelve months will do that to a person. I don’t know where I will be next year. I don’t know what kinds of challenges I will face and memories I will create in the coming year. But one thing is for certain I couldn’t be more thrilled to see how it all plays out.
When looking at the past twelve months I can’t help but have the thought come to me, “I really did have an extraordinary year after all.”
