I read an article a few weeks ago before school started on bbonafide.com about how if you would write down three things at the end of each day that were positive for 21 consecutive days, your life would never be the same. Now I don't know if that's exactly true because I was so so content with my life to begin with but in my experience I've never regretted that I took the time to jot dow these few little things. It really trains your brain to recognize every good thing that's in your life. The crazy thing is that even on my bad days, it's not difficult to find three things that are good in my life still. I resolved to try to do it for the rest of my senior year to document all the little wonders that occur daily. Here's what I came up with from the past month (and a few little stragglers of August too):

8/24- my family, Jacob, fresh starts
8/25- Hannah, my great job, my warm bed
8/26- good food, clothes, a healthy body
8/27- student council, scriptures, siblings
8/28- random people from the Internet who give me blog compliments, Eliza, my phone
8/29- the strip, Instagram, Elizas pool
8/30- Jacob going to mission prep, suprise notes, my young women's leaders
8/31- the entire month of August and its adventures, strawberry acai Starbucks refreshers, understanding calculous today
9/1- the memories I made last summer, the wonderful times I'll have in September, the gospel
9/2- B days, new opportunities, student council
9/3- cute kids to babysit, long weekends, sister Ewell
9/4- the high roller, chocolate Sundaes, pre-birthday celebrations
9/5- everything everyone did today to make me feel so special (much more than 3 things)
9/6- my car, the atonement, scriptures apps that read out loud to you
9/7- the lake, the buffet at Wynn, my amazing friends
9/8- babysitting jobs, mutual, bishop leavitt
9/9- nice gay men at nordstrom that help you pick stuff out, Danielle Knecht, yummy smelling shampoo
9/10- back scratches, mint ice cream, schedule changes
9/11- college parties, Steve fellows, Rita's frozen custard
9/12- BYU games, my camera, soft hotel beds
9/13- my laptop, Pinterest, my bed
9/14- Bethany Bulloch, Brooklyn Peterson, Savannah Hansen
9/15- the opportunities I have, Danielle Knecht, fun babysitting jobs
9/16- in car jams, Jacobs bracelet, sprinkles cupcakes
9/17- big tips when I host birthday parties, downloading new songs,making flower crowns
9/18- being a senior, good friends that take cute pictures
9/19- lake havasu, a wonderful boyfriend who still loves me even when I'm grumpy, a soft bed
9/20- young women's leaders, the Holy Ghost, the scriptures
9/21- Jacobs bracelet, my laptop, prayers
9/22- sprinkles ice cream, sister Ewell, lululemon
9/23- homecoming set ups, little treats from Jacob, good days
9/24- mint ice cream, Japanese cherry blossom murals (and anthropologie level homecoming set up), the opportunity to get an education
9/25- new songs, big tips, leftover Rubios after long days of working
9/26- general women's meetings, pretty eyelashes, jamba juice
9/27- Emma park, sabbath days, park dates with Jacob
9/28- Hannah Leavitt, missionaries, seminary
