Happy Thanksgiving!
For the holiday I got the chance to fly down home to Vegas and spend some time with the fam. Mom splurged on a letter folk board so we, of course, took full advantage of it with a little thanksgiving photoshoot.
Staying grateful is something that I've been trying to perfect for years. At the end of every day I write down 3 things I am grateful for, and at the end of every month I post the accumulation of them here on my blog. This has been so effective for me. It's become a habit for me and is always comforting to know that even on my worst days I still have at least 3 things to be grateful for.
Major thing on the gratitude list this year is my college family. For friendsgiving we thought it might be a good idea to get all the necessary ingredients for a nice, traditional, Thanksgiving meal but then when our grocery cart was half full we decided it would be an even better idea to get Chinese takeout.
The crazy Evans family came down to Vegas to party too. Let me tell ya, we put the fun in dysfunctional.
Thanksgiving turned into eating at one of the casino food courts. Do any of us even look mad about it though? Nontraditional is our tradition.
We took these cuties out to the desert so my dad could put on an "air show" for them but really it just turned into nap time.

Lastly, the LDS instagram page released this gratitude list on their story and it is basically my new mantra. The gospel of Jesus Christ is hands down the biggest thing I have to be grateful for every day.
